Ease of operation is built into Altec chippers with the Altec Feedsense®, which automatically maintains cutter mechanism speed. The choice of Kubota or Honda engines on Altec chippers is available for fuel efficiency. Operator safety, however is always our number one priority. That’s why Altec chippers come standard with our patented Panic Bar that manually stops movement of the feed rollers.
